When I have time off work, I really like to sleep in. No alarm to interrupt sleep. No rush to get up in the morning. That perfect temperature under the sheets.
While that can be very satisfying, setting the alarm extra early can certainly also pay off. Making sure to raise well before the sun does. Getting out in the somewhat chilly air, bring the camera gear along, and search for a nice spot on which to greet the sun. During the trip to Fuerteventura in the beginning of the year I did this on two mornings. The image here is the last shot from the first morning, taken shortly after sunrise.
