In Skåne where I live, winter often does not mean snowy, white imagery. More often, the colors in the landscape range in various shades of brown and gray. Perhaps it's a form of self-deception, but I actually kind of like those colors. It's not an obvious beauty. It's easy to look at it without seeing it. But then, sometimes it pops out and becomes evident. At least in my eyes.
This image was shot at Vårhallen, an early morning that did not provide the sunrise we were hoping for. But even without the inherent beauty of a sunrise, it was worthwhile the visit.
